CCLS

The Director of the Centre for Chinese Legal Studies, Shaikh Ahmad Hassan School of Law (SAHSOL) at LUMS, Dr. Sikander Ahmed Shah, was recently invited to deliver a series of impactful lectures at Cornell University School of Law, including at the prestigious Clarke Initiative for Law and Development in the Middle East and North Africa. The lectures included detailed discussions on the impact of the China Pakistan Economic Corridor on federalism in Pakistan and introduced frameworks for the analysis of constitutional and governance-related issues.

We are grateful to Professor ‘Arafa and Cornell Law School for this meaningful exchange, and we look forward to future collaborations that strengthen cross-border dialogue on critical legal and constitutional issues.

Our centre remains committed to strengthening global academic exchanges, promoting dialogue on legal issues, and fostering international partnerships that contribute to enhancing legal education and research.
