Building Academic Bridges with Tianjin University
On Monday, 8th September, 2025, the Centre for Chinese Legal Studies (CCLS), Shaikh Ahmad Hassan School of Law (SAHSOL) at LUMS hosted an online meeting with Professor Sixuan Lyu at Tianjin University to explore avenues for collaboration between the two institutions.
The discussion focused on faculty and student exchanges, research collaborations, and joint initiatives in legal and interdisciplinary studies. Both sides also highlighted the importance of creating opportunities that encourage greater academic dialogue and knowledge-sharing between students and faculty.
This meeting marks a meaningful step in building stronger academic connections and developing long-term opportunities for mutual growth. CCLS looks forward to carrying this collaboration forward with Tianjin University.
